I've been using a web server on Linux in some fashion or another for nearly a decade. I remember making the jump from Apache to Nginx. One thing I ran in to while configuring both of them is: what SSL (TLS) settings should I be using?

Years ago, I came across this: https://cipherli.st/

However, it's been defunct since about January 2020.

I don't know if the last information on there is still relevant to today, but the results can still get you at least an A rating on SSLLabs.

The last available information from Cipherli.st is available at: https://web.archive.org/web/20200114095414/https://cipherli.st/

I hope this helps in your encryption endeavours!

UPDATE: 2021-03-08

I now use, https://ssl-config.mozilla.org/.
